Terms of Use
This is the agreement between you and Doover. It also serves as the end-user licence agreement for the Doover iOS app.
Last updated: August 11, 2026
Accepting these terms
By downloading or using Doover you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live, to use Doover.
The service
Doover provides photo organisation, editing, collage, reusable effects, and AI-assisted image generation. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules. You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law.
Your content
You keep ownership of your photos, instructions, effects, and outputs. You grant Doover a limited licence to host, transmit, and process that content solely to provide the service to you. You must have the rights to the content you upload, including the rights of anyone depicted in it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Doover to:
- violate anyone’s rights, including privacy and copyright;
- create sexual content involving minors, or content that is unlawful, harassing, or intended to deceive about a real person;
- bypass service security, rate limits, or access controls;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble protected components of the service, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
We may restrict or terminate accounts that breach these rules or that place the service or other customers at risk.
Effects and third-party skills
Some effects are open-source skills written by people outside the studio and are used under their own licences, with the author credited in the app and on our site. Those authors retain their rights in their skills. Your outputs remain yours.
AI results
AI output may be inaccurate, unexpected, or similar to content produced for other people. Review results before relying on or sharing them. Doover does not guarantee that an output is unique, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose, and outputs are not a representation of real events.
Credits, plans, and purchases
Rendering an artwork spends credits. A standard render costs one credit and an HD render costs four. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance that resets at the start of each calendar month; unused allowance does not carry over. To keep the service fast and to prevent abuse, each plan limits how many renders may be in progress at once. A render that fails is not charged.
Doover Free includes 20 credits per month. Doover Plus and Doover Pro are auto-renewing subscriptions offered monthly and annually; Pro additionally unlocks HD renders. Credit packs are one-time purchases, do not expire, and are spent only after your monthly allowance is used up. Current prices, durations, and inclusions are shown in the app before you buy.
All purchases are sold and billed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. A subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Manage or cancel in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting your Doover account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription — cancel it separately. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. Credits already spent cannot be refunded by us.
We may change plan pricing or inclusions. For an existing subscription, changes take effect at the next renewal and you will be notified as required by Apple, giving you the opportunity to cancel first.
The community
Doover lets you publish effects and creations for other people to see. Publishing is always your choice, and you keep ownership of what you make; you grant Doover a non-exclusive licence to display it in the app for as long as it is published. What may and may not be published, how content is screened, how to report or block, and what happens to accounts that break the rules are set out in the Community Guidelines, which form part of these terms. We may remove content or terminate accounts that breach them.
Availability and termination
We may update, suspend, or discontinue features. You may stop using Doover, sign out, or permanently delete your account at any time — see deleting your account.
Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Doover is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary losses, or for lost data, revenue, or profits. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including any statutory consumer rights you may have.
Apple-specific terms

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we make material changes we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continuing to use Doover after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer law in your country of residence applies instead.
