Community Guidelines

Most of Doover is private — your photos, your edits, your gallery. The community is the part other people can see, so it has rules. These are they.

Last updated: August 11, 2026

What the community is

Two things can be published: an effect you made, and a creation you rendered. Publishing is always a deliberate action. Nothing you edit in Doover is ever shown to anyone else unless you publish it, and you can remove anything you published at any time from the app.

What may not be published

  • Sexual content, nudity, or anything sexualising a minor. There is no context in which the last of these is acceptable, and accounts that post it are removed and reported to the authorities.
  • Graphic violence, gore, or content glorifying self-harm.
  • Hate speech, or content attacking people over race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, gender, age, or sexual orientation.
  • Harassment, threats, or content targeting a private individual.
  • Someone else’s work passed off as yours, or a real person’s likeness used to deceive.
  • Effects whose instructions try to steer the model toward any of the above, including when the effect’s description looks harmless.
  • Spam, scams, or content that exists to advertise something else.

Screening

Everything published is screened automatically before it appears — images and text both. Screening is not perfect in either direction: it occasionally refuses something innocent, and it occasionally misses something it should have caught. That is why reporting exists, and why a refusal is never the end of the conversation. If something of yours was refused and you believe it should not have been, email support@dooverapps.com.

Reporting

Every published effect and creation can be reported from inside the app — press and hold it, or use the ⋯ menu when it is open, and choose Report. Pick the reason that fits and add a note if it helps.

Reported content is hidden from you straight away. We review reports and remove anything that breaks these rules within 24 hours. Content that draws reports from several different accounts is taken out of circulation automatically while it waits to be reviewed, so nothing harmful sits in the feed overnight waiting for a person to wake up.

Blocking

You can block any creator from the same menu. A blocked creator’s effects and creations disappear from your store, your library, and the leaderboard, on every device you sign in on. Blocking is private — the person is not told. Manage your list in Profile → Community → Blocked accounts.

What happens to accounts that break the rules

A first breach usually means the content is removed. Repeated breaches, or a single serious one, mean the account is terminated and its published work removed. We do not offer a right of appeal for content involving minors.

Your own content

You keep ownership of what you make. Publishing grants Doover permission to display it in the app and nothing more — we do not sell it, license it onward, or use it to train models. Removing a publication removes it from the feed; deleting your account removes every publication you ever made, along with your name on them.

Contact

Reports are best filed in the app so they reach the right content. For anything else, including urgent safety matters, email support@dooverapps.com.
